The Welsh Grand National at Chepstow
As promised I shall be taking you through some of the events I attend both socially and where we have a trade stand or pop up.
A rescheduled Welsh National at Chepstow in January rather than December was the result of ground being too heavy. Despite torrential rain the rescheduled day had enjoyable top class jumps horse racing and my jewellery hats and accessories were on show at Dents' Originals Exhibition stand who were also showing the Fashions of my friend fashion designer Gabriela Rose, and weatherpoof fashions by Toggi, as well as Fine Art and gifts on an equine theme.
The millinery sold well and we are reduced to only three hats left in stock! As did the Alchemy and some new pieces of equestrain silver plated Jewellery. including snaffle bracelets.
The wind was so bad after racing however that two hats were lost to a freak twister in the darkness!
Many congratulations to Kerry Lee the trainer of the winner Mountainous under jockey Jamie Moore who put up a very gallant performance to win the race for the second time.
