Cream...Get on top.... and you really will with this breathtakingly striking highest quality true luxury filthy cute faux fur coat, with such amazing kinetic drama in movement, and as soft a thing as you will ever have touched. It dates I think from the 1990s, though has an obscure label 'Les Amies' which suggests its a boutiques own branding. No composition labels. There were swing coats in the 1980s, and various manufacturers esp Couture Helene, and Apparence, etc  made them right through to the 00s, Though they tended in later years to put the flounce in front with waterfall construction etc and this is most def absent that nonsense. The 80s ones were swinging from shoulders not waist. Which on this, is drawstring. Nicole Farhi and others did these drawstring waist in faux furs of  the time ie 1990s. So it's an educated guess. And certainly the real furs by Fendi etc using this tier construct to flare out from waist came in in the 1990s. Though this is def faux, there's a lot of thread dense pile fabric in those tiers and all lined, so it does have some proper weight to it so will move beautifully.
 
A coat of paradoxes; since it has elegance yet luxuriously flaunty flounce; it has power yet it is so pretty, and it is sassy yet oozes sensual sexuality.

It will suit a UK medium size, from a size UK 8 to UK 14 I would say comfortably. The shoulder structure has the power shoulders but without padding, which is also 90s. So it's roomy enough to hav a jacket on underneath comfortably. I hate being humphed up with a coat too tight over a jacket. Which for eg in the 1990s with the Chanel mini skirt boucle suits you may have worn for a cream tea at the Ritz, or too a winter horse racing meeting like Cheltenham. And....yeah we DID go out at night clubbing in some outrageous stuff. For those who couldn't afford Gaultier the attic was raided for granny's foundation garments which we wore on the OUTSIDE, teamed with an absurd cone bra Madonna style which some little designer in Hyper Hyper had copied, and stocking tops on show. Yeah ask your mum zoomer.....she will get just a bit red in face but smile all the same.  In other words, you NEEDED a warm fur coat especially when the dress restrictions could keep you queuing in the cold. And, a gorgeous fur like this would get you picked out from way down the queue and ushered in and if lucky to a VIP table. That was how we rocked. Sorry no trainers....
