Ah Absolute Luxury in Cashmere Angora wool and Very high quality faux fur coat in pristine condition.
Would be Criminal to not have this luxury in your wardrobe....and I have to tell you girls that Supercrime pays....
 
Black luxury fabric makes it's a dream to touch if you understand quality. 15% Cashmere 15% Angora 70% UK wool. Made in UK by Feminella. No closure, this is an edge to edge revere vanishing point tuxedo front lapel in a gorgeous high quality sleek soft sensual black faux fur. Acres of fabric for a bit of drama when you walk with it! Has a wide notched top collar and loose drop shoulders & slight flare. So it is very 1950s kind of cut. And has snuggly faux fur cuffs that can be rolled up or down to desired sleeve length or to keep your hands warm as toast. 
 
This is one size, would fit up to a size UK 18, but fine for small too I am only a size UK 8 and would wear no probs. I have one very similar which is the only reason I am selling this or would be a keeper. I have to have my luxury cashmere & faux fur especially to snuggle up on long journeys. And they can hide a multitude of sins....and hence my 'Spirit of the Age and Garment' inspiration song...

So sang Sigue Sigue Sputnik on their album 'Dress for Excess' 1988, in 'Supercook Blues' and was re -released on their album of 12 inch songs 10 years later. All that time and beyond (I think Sigue Sigue likely bigger in Europe than UK strangely) that was one of my faves to hit the dance floor to!  And regularly in a big black coat for sweeping drama as that was the thing then!
 
In the 1980s and 1990s you just HAD to have a big luxury coat, and you may have been a 'heroine' hidden in a super crook femme fatale garb, but that was how we rolled then: it was a time to dress for excess! We wanted all that glamour and luxury why the hell wouldn't we? And, of course if you are drooling over this and you should be....and are as you are still here... this is lush. The song cites a girl wearing cashmere on a flight to Kahmir, which is where the Cashmere Goat is from that gives us this luxurious soft wool. Of course now places like Mongolia are big producers, but that is where it originated and the wool first became a luxury textile in the 14th century though likely used many centuries prior. 
 
In the 1980s and 1990s such cashmere was added to British wool ...and this coat has the additional luxury of Angora to boot...to make fine coats such as this one. Mansfield was a pioneer in this and also Feminella, and this one the latter. these coats were Made in UK and exported the entire world with flagship stores like Harrods Fenwicks Selfridges stocking such. To make them slightly more affordable very high quality faux fur was used rather than real. Though they still retailed at £250-£450 typically. The revere fax fur fronts and loose oversize fit were pioneered by the likes of Nicole Farhi late 1980s and 1990s too. 
 
You need this. You know you do. Such a coat is a must for all occasions and in classic black wear with anything day or evening. For a smart work presentation where you need to look super serious but seductive, for added dramatic glamour for that special evening out to dinner or theatre, or for outdoor winter events such as the horse races or Winter park events and walks to keep warm, and of course for making all travel that little bit more luxurious.
