A very special piece this wedding dress believed to date from the 1930s. Really elegant design and long train, the fabric is mixed natural fibres, weaved with a subtle treble clef design throughout, also giving in a lovely texture, like a very complex pique. No label, and likely seamstress made, but a beautiful piece we wish we could tell you more about it.
Couldn't resist a period Southern/latin blues Noir spin for this beautiful original 1930s wedding dress. It's a nice day for a white wedding....IF we are allowed to get married this year.... this could be the dream dress...especially if you are a music fan because the texture has a fine treble clef woven in to it.
Due to it's age, while beautiful to wear with a slight elasticity to it (though it doesn't appear to have any synthetic fibres), it does have two inch long half inch wide tea stains in the train. Unable to get it dry cleaned atm with lockdown, and not sure if they will come out, but this is reflected in the price.
